Whether you work in the fashion industry or you just want to know the 411 on what’s hot, the Pantone color trends for each season are a must. This Autumn, Pantone chose tones that anyone can work into their wardrobe without feeling like they are stepping too far outside the box. Designers like Marc Jacobs, Bottega Veneta, and Jacquemus have been using these colors in their Fall 2019 ready-to-wear collections as seen on Vogue that Pantone predicted.

Colors for autumn/winter 2019/20 display a new beginning, bold and strong, a visceral palette of colors that are relatable yet display some clever tweaks for the winter season. Expressing the wide-ranging acceptance of color combinations for Autumn/Winter 2019/2020 suggest a thirst for liberation and a desire to realize our own individualized unique identities.

“Colors for Autumn/Winter 2019-2020 range from easy and sophisticated to strikingly different and unique,” said Leatrice Eiseman, Executive Director of the Pantone Color Institute. This palette of versatile hues builds a sense of empowerment and confidence, enabling the wearer to choose the colors that best reflect his or her mood and persona.

When consumers are shopping, one of the first things that make them gravitate to an item is the color of it. Each color can have different meanings behind them based upon the feelings or memories a consumer associates with the color. Colors are also a great way to express ourselves and let others know how we are feeling or how we want to feel! We all want to stand out in this world, and what better way is there than to wear on trend colors?

The colors for this Autumn/ Winter season are rich shades that are considered jewel tones. Below we have listed examples of the Pantone colors you can find on the Michael’s website! Don't forget to check out our in-store location for even more Pantone color trends.
