Pantone’s Fall 2023 Color Trends 

As the summer is dwindling to a close, it is time to prepare our closets for fall! One of the most helpful ways to plan ahead for each season’s wardrobe is to look into fall fashion reports. Every year after the A/W runway shows, Pantone compiles what they believe to be the biggest colors of the upcoming season. So today, we will take a look into what shades they believe will take over this fall and what Michael’s pieces in those shades you can shop online now!

The first color we are so excited to see this fall is ‘Red Dahlia’ - a beautiful rich red burgundy with tones of red, brown and burnt orange. The color is reminiscent of sweet cranberry pie and blossoming red chrysanthemums and has the ability to transport you into a chilled November night.

The second color that Pantone predicts will be all over this fall is “High Visibility,” a vibrant sunny yellow. “High Visibility” is definitely a brighter shade than one would expect to wear in the fall, but it truly captures the essence of a sunny late September day with yellow leaves falling while you can feel the last moments of summer hitting your skin.

Last but not least, trend forecasters have their eyes set on “Hot Fudge,” a ‘deliciously delectable’ dark brown shade. Browns are of course a fall staple, but there is something so captivating about this rich chocolatey shade. When you look at it, you want to bundle up near a fireplace with a warm mug of homemade hot chocolate.
