Alice+Olivia
Alice + Olivia was founded in 2002 by designer Stacey Bendet. Bendet entered into a partnership with Rebecca Matchett, a former college classmate who took responsibility for the operations and they named their label after both of their mothers: Alice and Olivia. Bendet and Matchett split in 2003 and Theory founder Andrew Rosen became the chief financial partner. Bendet has become known for her wild, fun, designs that reflect the independence of the modern woman.
