Prada
In 1913, Mario Prada and his brother began a leather manufacturing company in Milan, Italy. Their business consisted of creating and importing leather goods and steamer trunks. Due to the lack of steadiness in traveling those days, their products were not traveling well. They decided to shift their focus on creating waterproof luxury goods. After the brand was struggling in 1978, Mario’s granddaughter Muccia had decided to take over Prada. Muccia was able to devote her talents to designing and took the brand to an extraordinary level in the fashion world.
